How to Use HTML in Swing Components with JAVA

โดยปกติแล้ว component ในการแสดงผลของ swing class นั้น {ไ้ด้แก่ พวก jLabel, jTextField, jListbox etc. } นั้นเวลาจะแสดงข้อความ การกำหนดสีตัวอักษร และ รูปแบบอักษรจะทำได้เพียงแค่รูปแบบเดียวในหนึ่งบรรทัดเท่านั้น โดยการกำหนดผ่านทางเมธอดประเภท setFont, setForeground ดัง ต.ย.

label = new JLabel("A label");
label.setFont(new Font("Serif", Font.PLAIN, 14));
label.setForeground(new Color(0xffffdd));

แต่หากเราต้องการผสมรูปแบบต่างๆ เข้าด้วยกันในบรรทัดเดียวหรือหลายบรรทัดก็สามารถใช้ Tag ของ HTML เข้ามา ดัง ต.ย.

button = new JButton("<html><b><u>T</u>wo</b><br>lines</html>");
